lately:
- spending my weekdays working/sleeping only to emerge rich and perfumed on the weekends
- being fed free food by my employer as a bribe for working overtime (like time and a half isn't reason enough. 12 hours = 230 extra dollars in my pocket)
- making more money than ever before in my life and spending it accordingly
- lil' beasties, cats are incredibly comforting creatures when they feel like it
- kind of dating someone, will explain further if it ever even warrants it
- missing ben, missing arend, missing liss
it's hard to complain, really.

so far, apple is pretty awesome. I get my first check friday (we get paid weekly), and it's gonna be as much as a two-week check from tni. I am so relieved to be making good money again. I am already spending it all mentally but you know, a girl can dream and all that. also, thanks to file sharing on the network I am listening to kraftwerk through someone's itunes library. thanks "karaoke underground" for all the indie pop.
arend left for chicago monday and I am already pretty much in mourning because chicago may as well be death right? ben leaves for sweden next wednesday and the idea makes me a physically ill a little. it will just be joe and rachel and I crying into our martinis for months. p.s. emilie introduce him to cute swedish hipstergays please.
I might do new year's in stockholm since i'm gonna be in france for christmas. how incredible would that be??
in other news, the apple cafeteria has made me inadvertently lose like 5 pounds, and the smoking section has made me all tan. no wonder everyone here is so tan and healthy, its totally involuntary.
my new favorite thing is getting crazy high and then swimming laps with my underwater ipod. its so satisfying.
is anybody making the switch to tumblr? itt gimme yrs I will follow or add you or w/e especially if you post pictures of naked people

so my life has vastly improved in the past few days
1. i got a new job! at apple! i am very excited about working full time and making good money
2. i got a new apartment! in the suburbs! i was all mad about it until i realized that having a washer/dryer is like the most incredible thing i can imagine so what if i have to drive an etra 15 minutes on mopac
3. arend is here and despite driving each other moderately nuts it's been tight
ok now i can not be so busy. i am looking forward to settling in to everything.

so life is alllll sorts of hectic lately. i have been super busy with job interviews and apartment hunting and working and all sorts of other bullshit! i also have had a few different dates but i keep canceling them because really all i want to do is smoke a bowl and watch sabrina with arend
here are the benefits of living in the suburbs:
1. cheap
2. washer/dryer/dishwasher/central air
3. bigger
4. bigger likelihood of unsecured wireless networks
cons include: living in the suburbs
so i watched the 10 things i hate about you tv show and
he is so good looking, it is honestly reason enough for me. it's a pretty cute show though
i have a job interview at apple the 27th i'm so excited about it wish me luck

we ate mushrooms friday, spent a lot of time standin' in the bathtub and looking at joe's dazzling array of plaid shirts
here are things i am looking forward to:
- my bloody valentine the 21st
- steve and melody moving back to town
- summertime
- france for a little bit
- getting tan(ner)
- blunts in the greenbelt
i got rehired at my old job fixin' the internetz. it's kind of OK actually, there's a bunch of hot dudes (including the hippie love of my life oh my god y'all) and i genuinely enjoy a lot of my coworkers. most obvious downside is i am getting paid like 5 bucks less an hour!! fortunately i'm starting school this fall so my parents will cover my rent.
( oh yeah )
i am going to start expressing my moods through kate bush animated gifs, here's today

Cloe,
A lot has happened this week and life has turned 180 degrees.
Your mother, Nicholas and I have decided to sell the house in Round Rock and move to the Virginia Beach, Virginia area this summer. No shit! My employer offered us great opportunity with a raise, relocation package and long term security for the family. It’s really the only choice we have as my job in Austin goes away at the end of April and fortunately it’s a pretty good choice. Give me a call tomorrow or come and visit so we can explain the whole deal.

the security guard is playing johnny cash songs on the acoustic guitar and it's lulling me to sleep
i re-watched beautiful people and it is one of the sweetest, cutest, best-written shows i have seen. i really hope they do another series. plus the soundtrack is kind of incredible.

should i spend my tax refund on:
